I think that computer retouching has gone to far because many young woman look at all of the Celebrities and think that they are very beautiful and they want to look like that and many young girls strive to look like the people in the media. The truth is that none of these woman in Ads and Magazines look like this without Computer retouching, their bodies and faces have been changed so much from everything to their eyebrows shape, hair colour being changed to having their legs and thighs changed to look smaller and longer.The effects that photo retouching has to the general audience is that these ads are showing young girls that this is what your suppost to look like even though everything in the pictures are fake. Since this has such a impact of society because media is posted everywhere there is a increase of eating disorders and girls are starving themselfs to look that beautiful and skinny.
This is a great example to use, especially because we can see the difference between the 'real' Faith Hill and the constructed version of herself.
